Humble Elementary School at 20252 Fieldtree Dr. Originally established in 1948, Humble Elementary moved to its present location in 1998. The school offered a Dual Language Program and was given a "Met Standard" Accountability rating by the TEA.

Jack M. Fields, Sr. Elementary School at 2505 S Houston Ave. Established in 1995, Jack Fields ES is home to the Tigers. The school was rated "Met Standard" by the TEA.

Lakeland Elementary School at 1500 Montgomery Ln. Lakeland Elementary School offers a variety of special programs, including Gifted and Talented, Bilingual and ESL (English as Second Language), and Special Education programs.

- Ross Sterling Middle School at 1131 Wilson Rd. Established in 2007, Sterling Middle School is located adjacent to Humble HS. To complement Humble HS' IB program, Ross Sterling MS also offers the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP). Atascocita High School at 13300 Will Clayton Pkwy. Established in 2006 within Atascocita CDP, the school is Humble ISD's largest enrollment. To manage the large student population, Atascocita High uses a "house system" where students are divided into communities (Red, White, Blue, and Gold). Each community is further divided into two houses, allowing students to attend smaller classes within their houses.

Summer Creek High School at 14000 Weckford Blvd. Summer Creek High, named for Summerwood and Fall Creek, was a relief school that opened in 2009. The 435,000-square-foot campus sits on 67 acres of land in Spring Trace and is home to the Bulldogs.

Quest Early College High School at 15903 West Lake Houston Pkwy. Originally an alternative school, Quest was reformed into an early college school. Students zoned to Humble ISD can opt to attend Quest instead, though since it was reformatted, students entering their first year must undergo an admission process.

Humble Area East TX History
Joseph Dunman is believed to be the first settler in what is now Humble.
Pleasant Smith Humble, after whom the area is named, purchased land along the San Jacinto River and operated a ferry. Humble later began operating a post office out of his home and became a justice of the peace.
Taking advantage of the area's lush surroundings, C.O. Bender opened a sawmill in Humble. Soon, the small community flourished through the lumber trade.
In the early years, oil was discovered in Humble. People moved to the area, and Humble saw rapid growth. Local entrepreneurs formed the Humble Oil and Refining Company, now known as Exxon.
As the oil boom slowed down, residents returned to truck farming and lumbering.
Eventually, the small town moved to incorporate. The city of Humble now operates a council-manager form of government with a mayor, 5 council members, and a city manager.
Several factors contributed to Humble's subsequent growth. This includes the completion of the Eastex Freeway (Highway 59). As well as the construction of the Houston Intercontinental Airport.

Deerbrook Mall, located along Highway 59, offers many retail and dining options. The mall features 140+ stores and restaurants spread over 1,200,000 square feet of retail space. Anchor stores include Dick's Sporting Goods, Dillard's, Forever 21, JCPenney, Macy's, and Sears.
Residents can also opt to take the short drive to the Golf Club of Houston, located in nearby Fall Creek. The Golf Club of Houston features a public tournament and a private member-only course. The club showcases an 18-hole par-72 Rees Jones and David Toms-designed course with a 75.8-course rating and a 138-slope rating.
The club's Tournament Course hosts the Shell Houston Open, a PGA Tour event.
Humble maintains several parks, including Hirsch Park, Schott Park, Timberwood Park, and Uptown Park.
Schott Park, located along Will Clayton Parkway, covers 24 acres. It features an open-air pavilion, picnic areas, playgrounds, a half-court basketball area, and a walking path.

Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center is also a popular destination in the area.
